DECISIONS AND RESOLUTIONS AT THE 36TH COUNCIL MEETING OF THE WEST AFRICAN COLLEGE OF NURSING, COTONOU, BENIN REPUBLIC, MARCH 29THAPRIL 2ND ,2016
The 36th Council meeting of the West African College of Nursing was held at the INFOSEC Cotonou, Benin Republic from 29th March – 2nd April, 2016.The meeting commenced at 10:30am on Wednesday 30th March, 2016. The President –Mr Victor Zoclanclounon- presided over the meeting.
The following decisions and resolutions were reached:
FOLLOW-UP ON THE 12TH AND 13TH BIENNIAL GENERAL MEETINGS HELD IN LIBERIA AND GHANA RESPECTIVELY
Dr 01: Liberia Chapter to remit the $50 2013 BGM registration fee to the College to enable the Secretariat produce the 2013 proceedings.
Dr 02: The Secretary General to formally write the Ministry of Health,Liberia to find out the reason why Liberia Chapter did not remit the proceeds from the 2013 BGM hosted by the Chapter.
Dr 03: The Secretariat to refund Ghana Chapter the cost of 500 conference bags and one day lunch for 500 participants at the 2015 BGM from the Jhpiego fund support.
Dr 04: The payment of $28,150 for 563 participants including the new inductees that registered with the Secretariat for the 13th BGM in Ghana should be captured in the Executive Secretary’s report not just the $24,400 for 488 participants that paid directly to Ghana LOC.
Dr 05: Council resolved that the donations from the Honorary Fellowship awardees that were expended by Ghana for the BGM be returned to the College since no approval was given to the LOC to utilize the money
